Camping & Accommodation:

Hotel accommodations are provided where indicated.

Accommodations in fixed camps are as indicated if any.

We provide tents "Igloo style nylon with covered floor", space of the tent sleeps 2-3 persons.

Also we provide soft rolls about 10 cm thick and blankets if required but clients must bring their own sleeping bags, deferent types of sleeping bags are available for sell in Tripoli in the case the client did not bring sleeping bags

Most of accommodations during desert tour will be in an open air camps, hot water will be arranged by guide every morning for the client to wash, as for showers during the desert tours will be available at hotels or built camps "New Gaberoun camp", or the clients can use the water wells as they pass them by during excursion in desert. 

* New Gaberoun camp: located in the village of New Gaberoun (150 KM west of Sebha and 45 Km south of Lake Gaberoun), the room of the camp are built with bricks, and furnished with (two beds & or one large bed), but no TV or telephone in the rooms and for long distance calls the clients can use the post of office of the village, the shower and toilets are separate from the rooms, it has a restaurant of can serve hot and cold drink.

* Akakus, Wadi Teshuinat, Messak Mellet and Methandosh, the accommodations will be in open air camp, the clients will be using the tents and we’ll provide the soft rolls and the tents and the clients bring their own sleeping bags, and as for showers the clients usually use the wells during the excursion or wait until they arrive to the hotel.

Food arrangement during desert camping.:

A full board arrangements are offered at our desert tours if required including snacks, lunch and cooked dinners.

We have sample of food type that we arrange , first break fast, well include (coffee, tea, milk, yogurt, crone flakes,  butter, jam, honey, boiled eggs, juice, and bread).

Lunch include (salad “ tomato + cucumbers, boiled potato mixed with canned vegetables “ carrots, green peas” with or without mayonnaise, Egyptian fava beans, olives, fresh fruits, soft drinks and bread.

Dinners include: Libyan soup and the choice of the following, steamed rice with fried chicken or lamp meat, spaghetti with tomato sauce, or cuscus of course all the above is with lamp meat or chicken, and vegetables, served with soft drinks, bottled mineral water will be available at all times.

Water will be packed and available at all times, plus a 1.5 L bottled mineral water for each person each day, also bottled water will be served during meals.

Transportations:

Motor coach with A/C and MIC, will be used for long distance drives on paved roads, size of coach will be arranged according to the number of the group.

Desert tours and excursion will be by 4WD, mainly on the off roads, number of clients in each car will be 04 persons plus driver 05 persons in total, all drivers of the 4WD are professionals and very experienced with the terrain and have very good knowledge of car mechanic.

For desert excursion extra car will be available to assist in carrying equipments and supplies.

Guide and escort:

A through guide will escort the group through the whole tour, he will be as an escort for the group, assisting in all details of the tour, for example the  check in & out of the hotels, arranging local guides at sites, etc…,  all  in coordination with tour leader of the group.

Local guides at classical sites to explain about the sites will be arranged by tour escort at sites and museums.

Desert expert will accompany the group through out the desert excursions, also cook and helper will accompany the larger groups.

Tourists police will accompany the group the whole tour it is mandatory by law that each group should have a person from tourists police through out the tour.

Alteration & amendments:

Because of the unpredictable nature of the desert, flexibility is required concerning itineraries indicated and sites mentioned, there for Winzrik Tourism Services Company reserves the right to change  or cancel any route or special arrangement should conditions necessitate this and offer substitutes at equal value.

Please note that all museums are closed on Mondays in Libya.
